Logitech Has Made 1 Million Mice
Logitech, the swiss computer keyborad and mouse manufacturer, has announced that it has manufactured it’s one millionth computer mouse!
Logitech’s announcement comes just ahead of the 40th anniversary of the computer mouse, as demonstrated on 9th December 1968 by Douglas Engelbart, and at a time when analysts are claiming that the days of the mouse are numbered - with touch screen technology set to take over in the next 3-5 years.
Gartner analyst Steve Prentice who said “the mouse will no longer be mainstream in three to five years”. However he did add that the manufacture of the one billionth computer mouse was a “tremendous achievement” by Logitech.
