Firefox SEO & Web Design Plugins & Tools
Okay, so that was a bit of a title. But since I wanted it to cover every possible key phrase combination you could have possibly typed in to google I had to write it like that.
Anyway, on to the Firefox Tools:
The first and most important thing you will need to use these tools is the latest version of Firefox.
Web Design Tools:
Firefox Web Developer Toolbar
1. Web Developer Toolbar
Written by Chris Pedrick this tool is absolutely essential for website development.
The web developer toolbar allows you to disable cache, CSS, images or form elements real time allowing you to test and debug your projects on the fly!
You can also use some of it’s amazing other tools like instantly clearing your cache, cookies etc. You can show hidden elements and even show block elements to work out why they aren’t displaying correctly.
With the view source tools you can view standard source, view selected source and even view Javascript generated source - now that is a cool tool.
Firebug for Firefox
2. Firebug for firefox
Firebug is a great tool that places a small “BUG ICON” in the bottom right hand corer of your browser which, when you click on it, allows you to debug HTML and CSS code, and even do CSS and HTML code updates on the fly!
What’s really great about this tool is that there is also a version available for the all new Internet Explorer 8. (IE8 may be the first browser that Microsoft have got right!)

If you are an SEO looking for links and researching your competition then this is an absolute MUST. I dicovered this tool some time ago.
SEO for firefox is a small button 
that sits at the bottom right hand corner of your Firefox browser and you can switch it on and off as required. If you switch it on whilst searching on Google it will tell you everything you need to know about every page returned. PR, cache date, Y! links, G Links - everything!

There is a smiliar tool to this one called SEO Quake, which I also have installed and I will cover below. Just, this list is in order of my favorite and most used tools.

2. Search Status for Firefox
Search status employs the work of the Alexa toolbar technology along with that of calculating Google PR and compete’s rating.
Search Status will, like the Google Toolbar, tell you the Google page rank of any page you are currently viewing amongst other built-in features.

3. SEO Quake
I know that loads of people LOVE this tool and probably prefer it to the SEO for Firefox tool but before I get a millione and one people commenting at the bottom saying that this tool is better, remebre, this list is in order of how often I use these tools, not how useful I think they are.
SEO quake, like SEO for Firefox will show you the PR, Alexa Rank, Y! Links, G Likns etc. for every link on a full search results page.
What is a great feature of this tool is that, unlike SEO for firefox, it will show you all this info for the page you are viewing at the top of the page.

4. SEO Link Analysis
I have not really used this tool much but from what I can make of this SEO tool, it adds extra information to Y! Site Explorer and Google Webmaster Tools.

Social Media for Firefox
5. Social Media for Firefox
This is a great tool. It is used to measure the performance of a given page on the four biggest social bookmarking websites. Included are Reddit, Digg, Stumble Upon & Delicious.

6. Rank Checker for Firefox
I have never used this tool. It is installed on my Firefox browser, but from what I understand: Search engine Rank checker is great for recording your performance in the SERPs. You can also create a list of keywords and save as a predefined list for a given website as well as schedule automatic checking.
